Express cabinet delivery has become a trend in the world, but unlike other cabinet locks, this lock cannot be opened directly by password, RFID or fingerprints, because central controlled electronic locks have totally different structure and working ways. Usually this kind of lock needs to be integrated with the control board and software, and the lock is unlocked by issuing commands from the software.
The most common communication methods on the market are TCP/IP and RS485, our lock controller is designed on the basis of RS485 communication. If you also use this way, it will be much easier to make integration, you only need a RS485-USB/232 converter to connect our controller KR-CU with your PC directly.
For TCP/IP communication, we need to realize the conversion of the two signals, which requires our KR-BU control board, KR-BU connects router and KR-CU, achieving the conversion of TCP/IP and RS485 signal, KR-CU used to control electronic locks.
In addition to the above two communication methods, we have also developed the Bluetooth communication. Our Bluetooth control board KR-BW can communicate directly with the APP, which will gradually become a trend.
Another problem that customers are very concerned about is how to establish communication with our control board? Don't worry, we can provide you with test software to test the hardware part, and we will provide the protocol of the control board to help you complete the system integration.
Due to the different requirements for locks in various projects, the number of cabinets that need to be controlled varies from a few to hundreds or even thousands, so many clients need to control as many locks as possible in one system. In response to this problem, we have also designed different controllers for customers to choose from. At present, the conventional control board can control 16 locks or 48 locks, but we can connect up to 10 control boards in series, which means a complete system can control 160 or 480 locks.
However, some customers will also install our products on some special equipment, such as refrigerators, freezers, independent lockers, etc, one device only required very few locks, such as 1 or 2. In this way, if we still use our 16-way or 48-way control board, it will be a bit wasteful, and it will take up a lot of space, this requires our another small control board KR-SCU, one KR-SCU can control 1 lock only, there are max 100pcs KR-SCU board can connect in series, so one system can control max 100pcs locks.
